Sourdough Discard Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Sourdough Discard Room temperature
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 Tsp Baking soda
  • 2 Eggs Room temperature
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees
  • Line or oil cupcake pans
  • Mix all the ingredients except the chocolate together
  • Add the chocolate chips
  • Fill each cupcake spot 90% full of batter
  • Optional: add chocolate chips on top
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake for 15 minutes
  • Test to make sure there are no crumbs with a toothpick
  • Preheat the oven back to 450 while those muffins cool
  • Repeat until batter is gone
